Benchling Subprocessors

Benchling uses the below third-party service-providers as well as an Affiliate company, Overwatch Research (each, a “subprocessor”) to process Customer Data (which may include personal data). Subprocessors will only process Customer Data (i) on behalf of Benchling’s customers; (ii) in accordance with Customer instructions as communicated by Benchling; and (iii) in strict accordance with the terms of a written contract between Benchling and the subprocessor.

Benchling imposes obligations on its subprocessors to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures ensuring that the sub-processing of Customer Data is protected to the standards required by applicable data protection laws. Duration of processing: For each subprocessor below, processing of personal data will be for the duration that the customer uses and continues to use the applicable service(s), and for the retention periods as set out in customer's agreement with Benchling.

Google Trust & Security

*Benchling has acquired PipeBio, which is hosted on Google Cloud Platform. Currently, PipeBio, and by extension Google, will only act as Benchling's subprocessors for customers who purchase PipeBio services and explicitly consent in the purchase agreement to the use of PipeBio and Google as subprocessors.
