University Recruiting at Benchling

Starting your career at Benchling will give you the skills, confidence, and connections to help you succeed in your professional life.
My mentors and teammates always went out of their way to help me flourish. They pushed me to produce quality work, drew on their own experiences to turn project tasks into valuable lessons, and provided a close and accessible support system I still lean on today. I believe fostering connections with team members is the hallmark of Benchling's internship program.

“Being an intern at Benchling has been such a wonderful experience. I feel like I'm constantly learning and always out of my comfort zone in the best way possible. My favorite part of the internship has definitely been getting to know the other 2 CX interns, who have been not only the best support system I could've asked for, but the best friends.”

Frequently asked questions

Benchling hosts 10-14 week internships during the Summer (May/June-August/September). The large majority of our internship positions are within Engineering, but we’ve also had interns join our Customer Experience, Product Design, and Product Strategy teams. We do not have any Fall/Winter internships or co-ops available at this time.
We typically post technical roles by September to hire interns and new grads for the following calendar year. We typically post business roles by February to hire interns and new grads for the same calendar year. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until all roles are filled.
Our early career roles are based out of our Boston or San Francisco offices.
