At Benchling, we invest in the personal and professional growth of everyone at the company. We view mentorship as an ongoing process centered on learning, sharing new ideas, and creating opportunities for both mentees and mentors to develop skills and accomplish their career goals.
Mentors accelerate the professional growth of their mentee by guiding, inspiring, and empowering them to reach their full potential. And, in return, they receive the opportunity to participate in a rewarding and enriching experience that results in a higher level of engagement and commitment to their peers in the organization.
We’re committed to building an equitable workplace with diverse identities that reflect the world we live in. Benchling is home to a number of Employee Resource Groups that aim to build an inclusive and diverse workplace.
Additionally, we’ve partnered with local school organizations affiliated with NSBE, SHPE & AISES to donate $100 per student who completes our virtual onsite stage for our SWE New Grad role. So far, we have donated over $3,000+ across 15 different schools, but it doesn’t stop here: for the 2021-2022 season we’ve continued partnerships with student organizations as part of our recruiting strategy.
