OpenFold 3-preview is an open-source reproduction of AlphaFold 3, currently in preview. Developed by the OpenFold Consortium and the AlQuraishi Lab, it extends the capabilities of OpenFold 2 to multi-molecule complexes — proteins, ligands, nucleic acids — using the diffusion-based architecture introduced in AF3. For teams who want early access to AF3-class prediction without licensing restrictions, this is the path.
